Location 366th Medical Group, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho

Positions 1 FTE

Compensation $150/HR – 1099

Monday–Friday Regular weekday schedule

07:30–16:30 8-hour shift

40 Hours/Week Approximately

60-Minute Lunch Uncompensated

Physician – Flight Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

The selected physician will provide comprehensive clinical, occupational, and aerospace medicine support.

✓

Deliver primary, occupational, and aerospace medical care and order and interpret diagnostic studies.

✓

Conduct aeromedical evaluations, flying and special-duty physicals, PHAs, and certification exams.

✓

Prepare aeromedical waivers, DNIF/DNIC, and Return-to-Fly documentation as privileged.

✓

Perform office-based procedures and maintain accurate EMR documentation per Air Force and DHA policy.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

M.D. or D.O.; foreign graduates require ECFMG, Fifth Pathway, or USMLE equivalency.
Minimum 3 years of U.S. military Flight Surgeon experience.
Board Certification in Aerospace Medicine preferred.

License & Certifications

Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
Certified Flight Surgeon in good standing.
AMP 101, AMP 201, AMP 202 and AMIP or approved equivalents.
Current BLS, active NPI, and DEA registration.

Government Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required.
Favorable DHA security determination and SF-85 investigation.
Government credentialing and privileging.
MS Office and EMR proficiency.
Mandatory MTF training including HIPAA, OPSEC, GENESIS, and related requirements.
