Role and Responsibilities: 

MLTs are responsible for a wide range of crucial tasks in the clinical laboratory setting, including: 

  • Sample Collection: Collecting and preparing patient samples, such as blood, urine, tissue, or other bodily fluids, for testing. 
  • Laboratory Testing: Conducting a variety of diagnostic tests using sophisticated laboratory equipment and techniques, including hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and immunology. 
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results through meticulous quality control procedures and instrument maintenance. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing test results, identifying abnormalities or irregularities, and reporting findings to healthcare providers.
